These phonic games work on early reading skills of CVC words as well as 3 welded or glued sounds and plurals. Reading CVC board games are an excellent way to review with students on sounds they are learning. I will even have the students read the word and take data on their phonemic awareness skills for reading or IEP goal data. It’s a nice, relaxed way to see if they truly understand the concept. My students request these to play these games at least once per week!
